Almoners Breakfast Meeting

Invitation to the Breakfast Meeting – Saturday 8^th March 2025 at the Tovil Masonic Centre, Courtenay Road, Maidstone ME15 6QS.

I am delighted to advise that the Annual Almoners’ Meeting will again be held this year on Saturday 8^th March 2025 at the Tovil Masonic Centre, Courtenay Road, Maidstone. I do hope all Lodge and Chapter Almoners, their assistants and all brethren and companions across the Province will attend and take the opportunity to meet up with their fellow Almoners and colleagues.

This year we are delighted once again to welcome the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Neil Hamilton Johnstone together with other members of the Executive. We are also pleased to have as our Guest Speaker, Dr Leanne Flux a Business Psychologist and NHS Practice Manager who will be giving a talk about handling bereavement. We also have a presentation by Julie Porter and Jane Williams from ‘WALT – Working Together Against Loneliness’

Once again this will be a Breakfast event and will enable us all to meet and share experiences from your local Lodges/Chapters in an informal atmosphere. In addition to the presentations, the Provincial Grand Almoner will acknowledge the work and commitment of Almoners throughout the Province. This will be followed by an open Question and Answer session with members of the panel.

All brethren are most welcome to attend the breakfast and should plan to arrive by 9.30am with breakfast being served at 10am. The event should end no later than 12.30pm and I do hope that you will make every effort to attend.

A full English breakfast with fruit juice, toast and unlimited tea and coffee will be available for ticket holders only at a cost of £14. Booking requests should be made to me no later than Monday 3^th March 2025 using the form below.

I know there are some Almoners and brethren who do not have an email address can I therefore ask Secretaries/Scribes to please mention this event in your 2^nd Rising and pass these details onto them.
